The homecoming just got a whole lot bigger. Dublin grunge rockers Bleech 9:3 will headline the 3Olympia Theatre on Sunday 25 April 2027. It’s their biggest Irish headline show to date.
That’s a serious step up. Their Academy show this December is already sold out, and so is the rest of their autumn headline tour, London’s Electric Ballroom included. Don’t sleep on this one.

New single: “Tourniquet”
The 3Olympia news lands with a brand new single, “Tourniquet”, which premiered as a Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1.
- It’s produced by Dan Carey (Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg).
- It’s mixed by Rich Costey (Bruce Springsteen, Arctic Monkeys).
- Album news: their debut is called Bleed. A limited-edition version is available via the band’s store until Tuesday 6 October.
- A big 2027 tour also takes in London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, plus Belfast’s Limelight 2 the night after Dublin (Monday 26 April).
Who are Bleech 9:3?
- How it started: songwriters and guitarists Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy had spent their teenage years gigging around Dublin in other bands. They met at a 12-step recovery programme in their early twenties. Barry became Sam’s sponsor, and the two started writing together in “secret” sessions.
- The line-up: James Quinlan (bass) and Luke O’Neill (drums) complete the band.
- The London chapter: the band moved to London and found a home around Brixton’s famous post-punk haunt, The Windmill.
- The rise: in 2025 they opened for Keo and Shame and played a three-night residency at London’s Blue Basement. This summer they brought packed-out sets to Reading & Leeds and Electric Picnic.
- The sound: they pull from Radiohead, Deftones and Nirvana, with nods to Fontaines D.C. and Sleep Token.
Why we love this one
A Dublin band who’ve grafted their way here, playing one of the city’s most-loved rooms, is exactly the kind of night we live for. The way the autumn dates flew, don’t leave it until Friday afternoon.
