Day Fever Dublin: The Unmissable Over-30s Daytime Party Returns!

Dublin, get ready to dust off your dancing shoes because Vicky McClure and Jonny Owen are bringing their smash-hit over-30s club event, Day Fever Dublin, back to the capital this April!

The much-loved duo launched Day Fever last year, and it has been selling out venues across the UK ever since. Now, it’s Dublin’s turn once again to experience this feel-good, nostalgia-fuelled daytime clubbing event. Perfect for those who love a good boogie but also appreciate an early night, the party kicks off in the afternoon and wraps up just in time to catch Match of the Day or head home without the dreaded next-day hangover.

A Party for the Grown-Ups at Day Fever Dublin (and Anyone Who Loves a Classic Hit!)

Speaking to Dublin Live, Jonny Owen shared the excitement of returning to Dublin:

“We started this back at the end of last year and it just went through the roof. We sell out right across the UK now, so we knew we had to bring Day Fever Dublin back. There’s a real appetite for people who want to go out earlier in the day.”

The next Day Fever Dublin edition takes place this Saturday, April 5, 2025, at The Academy, Middle Abbey Street, from 3 PM to 8 PM. Expect an epic soundtrack packed with classic hits from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, guaranteed to transport you straight back to your youth.

Big Tunes, Big Energy & Unforgettable Vibes at Day Fever Dublin

Vicky McClure, best known for her role in Line of Duty, will be on the decks alongside Jonny, Jim O’Hara, and celebrity hairdresser Louis Byrne, who promises to bring the ultimate hype and energy to the stage.

“Me and Louis have partied together for years,” Vicky said. “He’s got the energy of a Duracell bunny—he’ll be bouncing around getting everyone going!”

And while the event is aimed at the over-30s crowd, there’s no strict age limit—so if you’re younger and fancy a trip down musical memory lane, you’re more than welcome.

“We’ve had people in their 20s come along in London,” Jonny said. “The music is mainly pre-2000s, so expect loads of 90s bangers, 80s anthems, and even a few modern tunes thrown in for good measure.”

A Club Night That’s Social, Nostalgic & All About the Vibes

What makes Day Fever Dublin so special? It’s all about good vibes, great music, and a proper dance session—without the hassle of a 3 AM finish. Whether you’re out with workmates, celebrating a birthday, or just fancy a different kind of night out, this event is designed for everyone to let loose and enjoy themselves.

And let’s not forget Vicky’s love for Oasis, so expect some Wonderwall moments in the mix.

“People want to go out and do things,” Vicky said. “The world is a different place now, and making sure there are events that suit everyone is so important.”

So if you’re ready to relive the glory days, sing your heart out, and dance your socks off—all before bedtime—grab your tickets now!
