Love Dublin (lovedublin.org) is an independent Dublin news and what’s-on site. We are a sister site to LoveBelfast (lovebelfast.co.uk). This page explains how we work.
Accuracy and sources
- We check event dates, venues and on-sale times against official sources (the venue, promoter, organiser or ticket seller) before we publish, and we link to them.
- Rumours, fan accounts and social posts are not enough on their own. If something isn’t confirmed, we say so.
- We write our own copy. We don’t republish other outlets’ articles. When we rely on another outlet’s reporting, we credit and link to it.
- Quotes are attributed to the person or organisation who said or issued them.
Images
We use real photos: our own, official press images, or openly licensed images, each with a credit. We don’t use AI-generated images on news stories, and we never alter people’s faces.
Independence
Love Dublin is independently owned. Any sponsored or paid content is clearly labelled as such. We don’t print ticket prices; we link to the official seller instead.
