Pulp Dublin Shows Announced

Legendary Britpop band Pulp have just announced a UK and Ireland arena tour for summer 2025. This includes a highly anticipated show at Dublin’s 3Arena on 10th June! This tour follows their triumphant return to the stage. It promises to be another unforgettable experience for fans.

Frontman Jarvis Cocker teased the announcement with a cryptic message:
“You deserve more – & we have more. In fact, we have More – (but that’s a whole other story… you’ll have to wait a little more time to hear that one). In the meantime: see you this Summer!”

Who Are Pulp?

Formed in Sheffield in 1978, Pulp became one of the defining bands of the Britpop era alongside the likes of Blur and Oasis. Fronted by the enigmatic Jarvis Cocker, the band’s distinctive blend of witty lyricism, storytelling, and catchy melodies won them legions of fans. Their breakthrough album, ‘His ‘n’ Hers’ (1994), set the stage for their massive success. It was followed by the critically acclaimed ‘Different Class’ (1995), which featured their biggest hit, ‘Common People’.

Other iconic songs include: 🎵 ‘Disco 2000’ – A nostalgic anthem reminiscing about youthful love. 🎵 ‘Babies’ – A playful, coming-of-age track with Cocker’s signature storytelling. 🎵 ‘This Is Hardcore’ – A darker, cinematic departure from their earlier Britpop sound.

After a hiatus in the early 2000s, Pulp reunited for a series of celebrated comeback shows, including a headline slot at Glastonbury 2011. Their return to the stage in 2023 reignited fan excitement. This led to this eagerly awaited 2025 arena tour.

  • Tickets go on general sale on Friday 21st February at 9.30am (GMT).
