Slash and Myles Kennedy Bring the Flying Blind Tour to Trinity College Dublin

Top hat, shades, big riffs, and this time in the grounds of Trinity. Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators are coming to Trinity College Dublin on Saturday 3 July 2027 as part of The Summer Series.

The new album: Flying Blind

Fifteen years and five albums in, SMKC are back with the new single and video “Flying Blind”. It’s the title track of their fifth studio album, out 26 February 2027 on Gibson Records.

  • They recorded it largely live with long-time producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette at Studio Barbarosa in Florida, often getting two songs done in a day.
  • “It’s a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ‘n’ roll record,” says Slash. “It’s very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.”
  • A first for Slash: “Looking for a Miracle” is the first song he has written on pedal steel.

Who’s in the band?

  • Slash: guitar and pedal steel
  • Myles Kennedy: vocals
  • Todd Kerns: bass and vocals
  • Brent Fitz: drums
  • Frank Sidoris: rhythm guitar

The band grew out of Kennedy’s guest spot on Slash’s self-titled 2010 solo album, and it has kept rolling right alongside Slash’s day job in Guns N’ Roses.

Why we’re excited

A July rock show on the grounds of Trinity is a pretty special Dublin night. The band head to Belfast’s Custom House Square the following night (Sunday 4 July), but this is the only Dublin date. Plan the summer around it.
